It’s November and the holidays are just around the corner. Did you know that Thanksgiving is the busiest road-trip holiday in the U.S.A? At I-70 Auto Service in Kansas City, we wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Here are some safe-driving tips to help make that happen: Buckle up. Slow down. Be patient. Don’t drive after drinking. Stay rested and alert. Obey the traffic rules. Pay attention to what you’re doing, leave your cell phone alone. Make frequent stops. Rotate drivers or stop and rest if you’re feeling sleepy. In the aftermath of the havoc wreaked by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida, we are going to find ourselves faced with a flood of water-soaked cars on the market. These cars were damaged by the intense flooding caused by Hurricanes Harvey and Hurricane Irma in August and September of 2017. Roughly, over half a million cars were damaged by the hurricanes, which will create both a need for car-buyers and an opportunity for dealers and auto insurance companies alike. Many of these flood-damaged cars will be fixed and placed back on the market, and many buyers will jump at the opportunity to purchase one of these often less-expensive vehicles.
