Kansas City Cabin Filters

If you are allergy-prone to pollen, or if you don't like sneezing while driving, consider the importance of replacing your cabin filters. Some car owners will ask the I-70 Auto Service team if the replacement of cabin filters is necessary. If you want to breathe easy, we recommend checking your cabin filter at least once a year and replacing it every 15,000 miles.

Cabin filters are a relatively new standard for late-model automobiles. We remember when cars and trucks didn't have cabin filters. It's not certain if cabin filters became required by insurance companies because too many drivers got into sneezing fits and subsequent accidents during spring, but that's our guess. What we do know, however, is that cabin filters capture pollen and dust that can pollute your vehicle's interior, making it hard on those with allergies or other respiratory problems. Your health and safety are why we recommend replacing your cabin filter once a year.
