In the aftermath of the havoc wreaked by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida, we are going to find ourselves faced with a flood of water-soaked cars on the market. These cars were damaged by the intense flooding caused by Hurricanes Harvey and Hurricane Irma in August and September of 2017. Roughly, over half a million cars were damaged by the hurricanes, which will create both a need for car-buyers and an opportunity for dealers and auto insurance companies alike. Many of these flood-damaged cars will be fixed and placed back on the market, and many buyers will jump at the opportunity to purchase one of these often less-expensive vehicles. Autonomous cars or self-driving cars are the cars of the future. If you’re like us, you probably dreamed of flying cars since you were a kid.
