General Manager Kendra OBrien is a mother of 3, two sons and a daughter. She spent 22 years in the restaurant industry working her way to a General Manager position before switching gears to a management position in the convenience store field. Through her years of management she built teams to deliver quality products and provide excellent customer service. In May of 2025, she was promoted from Assistant Manager/Service Advisor to General Manager, a recognition of her dedication, leadership, and commitment to customer satisfaction. In her free time she enjoys reading, being outdoors, listening to live music and spending time with her children. She began dabbling in automotive maintenance and repair when her son began to show interest in working on cars and it was something they could learn and do together. Her interests in automotive repair and her desire to provide excellent customer service, lead her on a path to find a career where she can do both.

Service Advisor Sam began his career with I-70 Auto Service in 2025. Sam is married to his wife, Carrie and they have two children. Sam relocated from the Memphis area to work for I-70 Auto Service and relocated him and his wife to the Kansas City metro. Sam grew up at the Lake of the Ozarks before moving to the Memphis area later in life. He loves to fish with his wife and spend time doing activities together with her. Carrie and Sam have a passion for retired racing Greyhound dogs and formerly took care of many of them. They currently have two that they have adopted into their home.

Parts Manager / Customer Experience Specialist Dennis Anderson serves as both Parts Manager and Customer Experience Specialist, bringing a strong passion for helping people and serving others to the I-70 team. He is dedicated to making sure every customer who walks through the door feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive. Dennis understands that vehicle repairs can be stressful, and he works hard to create a positive, reassuring experience for every customer. His goal is to make each visit feel as smooth and stress-free as possible, ensuring customers feel at home even during challenging situations. In addition to his customer-focused role, Dennis manages the parts department, making sure technicians have everything they need to complete repairs efficiently. His attention to detail and organization help keep the shop running smoothly and ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers as quickly as possible. Dennis is married to his wife, Jan, and they have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and going to swap meets and outdoor markets with his wife.

Automotive Technician / Fleet Specialist Matt Messinger brings over 23 years of hands-on experience to the shop, with extensive expertise in diesel repair and diagnostics. As our Fleet Specialist, Matt plays a key role in maintaining and repairing commercial and fleet vehicles, helping keep our customers’ businesses running smoothly. His background also includes time spent in a fabrication shop, giving him a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of both mechanical and custom work. Matt has attended welding school and takes pride in his craftsmanship, both in the shop and at home, where he enjoys forging and creating custom pieces. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Matt carries a strong work ethic, discipline, and commitment to excellence into everything he does. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and continuing to build and create through his passion for metalworking.

Automotive Technician Branden Nichols brings 9 years of experience to the team, with a strong background in both diesel and European vehicle repair. He attended school for diesel technology and has developed extensive expertise working on European makes, with a particular focus on Volkswagen. Branden is also a former certified Mercedes-Benz technician, where he gained in-depth experience servicing and repairing Mercedes vehicles, including Sprinter vans. His diverse skill set and diagnostic ability make him a valuable resource for handling a wide range of vehicle needs. Outside of the shop, Branden enjoys spending time with his fiancée and his child. Branden and his fiancee love live music as well. He also has a passion for performance and fabrication, often working on building drift cars in his spare time, with a deep knowledge of Subaru platforms.

Automotive Technician Chance Marler has been a valued member of the I-70 team since 2024, starting as an apprentice technician and successfully completing the NAPA apprenticeship program. He is ASE certified and has developed strong diagnostic skills through both formal training and hands-on experience. He has built a solid foundation working on a variety of vehicles, with growing expertise in European makes. Chance is especially skilled with modern vehicle technology and takes full advantage of the advanced diagnostic tools and equipment at I-70 to keep up with today’s increasingly complex vehicles. Outside of the shop, Chance enjoys spending time fishing and relaxing. He also has a passion for performance and technology, with a high-end racing simulator at home that reflects his interest in precision and driving.
